In a small village in the Italian Alps I found this wonderful abandoned villa. It has remained uninhabited since the ’80, but is perfectly preserved. The owners must have left in a hurry, since the table is still set for a dinner never consumed. The books, clothes and other utensils are all there, seemingly untouched by time. Only the discolored and teared wallpapers betray the passing of time.
